Fun Filled Saturday

Saturday we went to the Primary Activity at the Temple Grounds.

Jeff had to work, so my mom came with me to help with the kids.

Anna Belle had fun drinking out of the waterfountain.

There are no pictures of Tietjen because he was mad that we were not playing games!

Then, we went to Blackfoot for a quick visit to my sister Jillyn and her cute little family of boys!!
Bryan (my nephew) showed us how he can climb a tree!

Anna Belle was so cute and pretty. She had fallen asleep on the drive down and when she woke up the first thing she saw were the cows in the field. She was so excited!

after 40 days and the floods decended

on day after Jeff was off work.... we headed down town Idaho Falls ( a meer 10 miles away) to go to the Library... and the River (Snake River - that runs through town) to see the Falls (Waterfalls) and feed the ducks..... while we were gone, and I learned the meaning of scattered Thunderstorms... our neighborhood got hit with a HUGE rain storm and Hail.... this is the result of our storm....

... in front of our drive way is just a small pudlle... that you can follow east along the street....

until you see that where the road intersects... there is a LAKE in our road.... apartently the two drains are clogged or possibly frozen over (because of the hail)....

In the middle of the road, there was a Island.

We just had fun playing in the water!!!

WHY ME ????? mommy???

Last night, Anna Belle was in her room crying and throwing a fit..... for not obeying us..... when we heard her saying something.... we listened and finally figured out she was yelling.....

" WHY ME..... MOMMY !!!!"

what exactly that means, I don't know... but it sure was funny!!

after the rains decended....

Jeff is obsessed with his "sawzall" (spelling???)

He has trimmed and trimmed our trees to the bare minimum.

He sure enjoys it though.....

We spent Saturday doing yard work....

at some point, Annie just took off her shorts.....
Tietjen is helping more with yard and house work to earn money for a toy....

We have had 2 apartments, 1 condo, 1 duplex, & 1 home

We have been pregnant 4 times - 2 kids came about of it -




I would never change ANYTHING that we have gone through.... we are where we need to be in life and what we need to be doing!!

and the Rain came down down down......

We have had rain for over a week now.... It reminds me of when I lived in Washington (the state) when I was 8... it rained all the time... the only good thing was the blackberries that grew EVERYWHERE!!!

We are getting a bit bored of being inside the house.

I walked into the front room, Annie was like this.

She told me " I up down" (the word side was sort of inthere but it mostly sound like up/down)

Since all this lovely rain (which is wonderful for our grass and garden) we have been with out a vehicle... Jeff can't ride his motorbike in this... so we are STUCK in the house... and right now my kids are yelling at each other - PLEASE SUN COME!!!

Last Friday & Saturday I got to enjoy my Mother's Day gift... I went to "Time Out for Women" presented by Deseret Book, with my Mom & my sister Jillyn.

We attended at the ISU Holt Arena in Pocatello!!! (then we spent the night in Blackfoot at Jillyn's home) So I got to have a mini vacation - it was great!!

It was the BEST time ever!! Just a spiritual uplift through laughter and music!!

We heard music from Hillary Weeks (I took a pic with her -on my mom's camera - so I'll get it posted later), Jenny Jordan Frogley, and Abe Mills.

Speakers from Brad & Debi Wilcox, Michael Wilcox, Emily Freeman, Wendy Ulrich, and Chris Stewart.

It was time well spent - we plan on making this a tradition with my mom and sisters. Thanks Mom for the new CD!!

Sunday after church, the kids looked so cute, so I TRIED to snapped a few pictures. Then my neighbor came over and she took them, so that I could get them to look and not have to do the camera part also...I played with the color on them... they look adorable I think!!
