The Sand Box

Where do I start... the Sand Box. When we moved to our home 2 1/2 years ago.. the previous owners or someone in the past left a huge tire from a tractor.. which I wanted to convert to a sandbox. Last summer our neighbors went out to the dunes to get sand for theirs and had extra leftover and filled ours also.

Tietjen loves to play in it... Anna Belle it took a couple of times before she would sit in it. Tietjen has been playing in the sandbox all month of April. Even when it was cold, he was out there in his snow gloves and coat. I was just gratefull for some of that engery getting out of him.

We made a birthday cake out of sand with old kitchen utinsiles for the candles.

Here is Tietjen very upset because he turned on the hose and put water in the sandbox, then he wanted me to take the water out of it....

Anna Belle is Turning ONE

Anna Belle is getting so big... I can't believe that she is almost a Year old...

So the doctor says"can he do this....?"

Last month at Tietjen's 3 year check up the doctor asks me all these questions if Tietjen can do certain things. He asked if Tietjen could stand on one foot and balance? I had to stop and think, "I don't know?" I said "I never asked him to do that before" ...... NOW what I should have answered was..."Well, he can stand on his head, does that count?" Here is Tietjen learning to stand on his head......

What a silly boy!!! But we love him!!
