Tietjen's First Day of PreSchool

My Baby started Preschool TODAY!!!

Today was Tietjen's first day. He was so excited. Last night he helped daddy shine his shoes (he got them dirty yesterday) and we got his backpack already with his supplies.

This morning we had to force him to eat his breakfast... he never eats real well in the morning. He was already to go in the outfit that he picked out.

Isn't that the most ADORABLE face you have ever seen!!

Here we are at his school... it was so bright he had a hard time looking at me for the picture.

We tried to shade him with our shadows. It looks quite funny.

Tietjen goes to school from 8:20 am to 10:20 am. Today he told me that he played in the sandbox and not the outside big toys. That he got to play music with the the triangle thing. (He wanted to take it home) He said he liked it alot. I sure missed him alot. Annie & I went grocery shopping while he was in school.... WOW to have just one child again in a store.. such ease!

He is my big boy. I love him lots. And I only cried a little.

SCHOOL DAYS>> SCHOOL DAYS>>

Today is Jeff's first day of classes for this new semester. It has been SO NICE AND WONDERFUL to have him home this summer. I have enjoyed it so much. We will miss him lots while he is gone for longer time during the day. We did luck out and he has a morning class at 8 am, gets to work by 9 am then will leave at 4:30 for a 5 pm class and gets out at 7 pm. So he will be home by 7:15 but there is always LOTS OF HOMEWORK.. except on Tuesdays his chemistry lab it till 10 pm. He is taking Chemistry, Physics, and an Engenering Statics. We love you JEFF!! The Kids New BED!!

This past weekend we acquired a new BUNKbed from a family in our ward. We were very excited, we had been thinking about getting one for Christmas. Tietjen has the top (twin size) and Anna Belle has the bottom (Full Size). I painted it black from the orignal white. Tietjen did fall off the first night.. but he did that on his toddlar bed too the first time. But they sleep great.. except Anna Belle is use to moving around alot and not falling off. So I have my body pillow and one from my mom to help her have something surounding her. I plan to give Me for Christmas somekind of matching type of bed sets. I didnt think they would be to thrilled getting it themselves. Here are some pictures off the bed process.... ENJOY!

I learned a new lesson... cheap spraypaint for BIG prodject is just not worth the time... or pain on my finger!!

It was quite the circus getting the bed together with

two adults, two kids and a dog all wanting to help!!

Tietjen just loves to tell people that he is on the top bed... up high!!

As you can see... Tietjen is using my old mickey mouse bed stuff and Annie has just a sheet for now. I am still looking for something cute, matching.. but not exactly the same. I want it to be different boys/girls looking but cordinating!!
