Christmas Eve...

Tietjen Family Party

After the sledding. We gathered for some inside familiy fun. The kids made grahmcracker houses, we had Family Home Evening, and exhanged cousin gifts.

Jeff (of course) had to show off his Engineering Skills

and he helped Anna Belle make a 2 story one!!

Earlier in the year, the kids pick out names and the kids will give gifts to each other. That is our way of doing gifts for the families!!!

Tietjen got a hamster pet thing that moves and makes alot of noise!!!

Tietjen likes to have Aiden sit by him on the kitchen floor and play with it!

Anna Belle got a "Princess" cape with the Letter "A" on the back.

She loves it and wears it all the time!!

Aiden got an outfit and a sippy cup with his name on it!!

My baby looks so big now!!

I know you would have never guessed!

My Princess got a beautiful dress!! To help my girl sparkel. Also some dress up dresses (clearenced Halloween clothes are the best) and some princess doll toys.

Christmas was simple and perfect.

We do only 3 gifts, just like Jesus was given when he was born!

We are so gratefull to all, for all that we recieved.

Most of all we are gratefull to have been with family

and for our Savior

to celebrate this time of year!!

Tietjen found a cousin to play with. Tanner was picking him up and throwing him up into the air! I was more worried about Tanner hurting his back. I am glad they had fun!

Jeffrey -

Has completed another semester. Only 3 more to go !!! We are so excited for Spring of 2012 when he will graduate with a Bacholor's Degree in Civil Engineering. I am so proud of how HARD he works in school, work, and taking care of our family. He also received a year long Internship with the Idaho Department of Transportation working in Pocatello in their office doing Engineering stuff. He continues to make us smile and do all that he can for us.

Mickie Ann -

Is doing better. This year was a hard one for her. With a hard pregnancy that resulted in our wonderful little Aiden Justice this past June. Now dealing with Seizures, Memory Loss, and Post Pardom, she is trying hard to find the small things in life to bring her happiness. Her memory was of about 10% too about 45% now, she is very happy. Also, very very very happy, that her little Aiden was not the one to be born with the seizures. She is excited to start a new year with new goals!!

Tietjen -

Kindergarden has been the biggest blessing (for Mom also). He loves going to school and learning. He has received awards for counting to 100, spelling his full name, and knowing his addresses. This little left-handed boy enjoyed soccer this past Fall, and can kick the ball down the field using either foot. He loves life and has a memory like no other, a problem when Mom can't remember things, he does it for her. We love him and are so proud of him.

Anna Belle-

Started her first year of Preschool. She loves to go and play with her friends. She is one of only 2 girls in their class, and the other girl gets mad, because sometimes, Annie wants to play with the boys too. She has already picked out her husband, and told me she will marry him in the Temple someday. She is loved by many people in our neighborhood. She is all girl, loving to dress up and look like a Princess. We love her dearly, and Daddy is glad he only has one!!

Aiden-

Our little man, came to us this past June. He is now 6 months old. He can sit up, but won't roll over much. He is starting to do the kick crawl, like Anna Belle did... on his back, pushing his legs to get around. He loves walking around in the kitchen in his walker. He loves attention, and screams, when he isn't getting it. He is a talker/babbler and will talk just as much as the rest of the family someday!! We are so happy for him to be apart of our little family.

Thanksgiving!!

Finally... our post about Thanksgiving...

Snow is falling all around, so are blessings....

Friday marked the day of many good things.....

1st - it was the last day of school for the kids & Jeff,

they are on a week "Thanksgiving Holiday" Break.

2nd - We found out the Jeff got the paid Intership with Idaho Department of Transporation, that he applied for 6 weeks ago. We are so majorly excited. He will be working with the Department of Transporation, doing Engineering work, like helping with designing roads and bridges and such. We are so blessed.

3rd - Since it is a week off of school, it means that Jeff can spend some time with US!!!

We had a wonderful Saturday, playing Wii together as a family, Jeff took Anna Belle grocery shopping and Jeff has done ALL the Cooking!! I LOVE IT!!!!

Plus, SNOW has finally come to Idaho to stay.... in the past 2 days.... Jeff has shoveled the driveway 3 times.

Jeff, you are an amazing man. I am so blessed to have you as my husband. You work so very hard and sacrafice so very much, for our family and for me. Thank You for working so hard in school and at work, so that I can be home with our children and so that you can have a career that will support us always. I know I complain sometimes, I appoligize. You the most important person in my life. I live to be with you. I love you!!!!

Aiden - 5 months old

As of November 10th - Aiden turned 5 months old....

He weighs in at about 18 lbs

He loves to laugh and smile and loves to be with his daddy!!

The other night he fell asleep on my arm as Jeff & I were up talking!!

We love our little Aiden boy!!

He can push himself around in his walker, has rolled over, but doesn't do it often, and wants to be contantly entertained!! He fits in great with the rest of us!!

Student Award

Tietjen was awared this certificate for a free pizza, for couting to 100.

He passed this off, like a month ago, but I kept forgetting to blog about it!!

He is one of three in his class that has accomplished this so far.

We are so proud of him, and tomorrow is my First Parent Teacher Conference for him!!

Our Bad Luck

Sunday Night as we were reading family scriptures, the wind picked up, as we looked out our front room window.... the wind became horrible and then a large flash of light we saw from across the street. Then all the houses on the other side of the street went dark. A transformer blew.

We soon find out that trees have fallen in to yards and even on houses of some of our neighbors. Those of us still with electricity gathered families without, in our homes, while the men went to help a neighbor down the street that their electrical pole was broken, tree was on their roof, and live wires were sparkin'

Then we decided to see what OUR damage was..... a huge section of the shingles on our roof had come off.....

They had all landed in our backyard and our neighbors backyards......

Jeff spent from the moment he got home from school at 3 pm till 6:30 pm reroofing our home. When he could have been studing for the 2 tests he had today..... last time he had these same 2 classes tests..... is when I had my seizure.

Bad luck - these tests seem to bring to us.... I am glad the semester is half way over!!!

Family Fun

We have had a lot of FUN days with Jeff!!

It has been so nice that his school load isn't as hard as semesers past.

This semester is only taking 16 credits, were in the past he as taken up to 18 credits!!

Yesterday he played Dominos with the kids!!

Also, Jeff is coaching Tiejten's soccer team.

We had our second game yesterday and this time Tietjen didn't pout!!

Last week he sat down durning the middle of the game and pouted (I guess having Dad as the coach he thinks he can get away with it.... but he didn't - he was grounded from his Wii for the whole week - until he showed us that he would be good and play the next game)

Tietjen is quite good and running down the field with the ball!!

Jeff looks so darn cute being their coach. I just couldn't resist taking this picture of him talking to them durning half time!!

My children will have NO problem dating and flirting when they get older!!

Tietjen is a major ladies man and has all the Young Women inthe ward wrapped around his finger!! Really he does.

Also Annie is now starting to take into the action. She already has her man picked out and she is going to marry him in the temple..... but, she is starting to play the field a bit...

Here she is playing with all the older boys in our neighborhood all the girls were else where. Just Anna Belle and the boys. (sorry Easton - please don't be jealous)

We are doing well. I am doing so much better and feeling so much happier!

Life is good. We are majorly blessed.

Eastern Idaho State Fair

On Labor Day Monday - we attending the Fair.

Jeff's first time for here, last time I went I was a teenager.

We also went and saw all the animals... Tietjen is afraid of anthing bigger than a rabbit. He would look but wouldn't get up close... ?? who knew??
