4 year old afternoon Preschool......

Today was Tietjen first day of Preschool.

4 year old afternoon Preschool, is what he will make you say.

During the summer when I told him he was going back to Preschool, he was confused, he had already done that. I explained, that this year it is for 4 year olds, and that he is going in the afternoon, instead of the morning, like last year.

So.... that is what we must call it!!!!!

Getting him to look at the camera and hold still and not be silly... will it ever happen?

(Doubt it - his father won't even do it)

the End of one Era and the Begining of another!!!

With summer comming to a close, Jeff's last day at Jack in the Box was August 13th.......so long Jack!!

and... as of Wednesday... Jeff became employeed at an Engineering Firm..............

Teton Structual Engineers, in Shelley, Idaho.

Today is his first day of Work... I made him let me take a picture (he wasn't to happy)

He will be working about 15 hours a week plus going to school (15 credits this semester, which starts the 25th)

We are so appriciative of Jeff and his hard work!!

Thank you for putting in the hard work of school and learning, so as to better support us!!

Final Vacation for final days of summer....

To celebrate summer, we spent yesterday (Monday) and today (Tuesday) at Bear Lake.

Originaly we were to stay tonight also, but.... we had a feeling we needed to end the trip today.
We played last night & this morning in the water. It was only in the 70's so not very warm. I was cold in the night, Annie woke up at 5 am, and Jeff ended up with a MAJOR sunburn.

We are so happy to be home!!

We love Bear Lake, I have been going my whole life, as my mother before me!!!

The Tent is UP and we are getting ready to head down to the beach, Mondy afternoon.

"THE ROCK"

This rock is very special to our family, my mom remembers going here, with her father Kenneth Cooley, as a child. (my Grandpa Cooley died when my mom was 12 years old)
So, every year we went growing up, we went and took pictures... now, we do the same. Traditions are hard to break in my family.... Thanks Grandpa Cooley for starting a very good one of "Bear Lake"

Tauphaus Park Zoo

Yesterday we went to the Zoo with my Mom!!

We haven't gone yet all summer so, we stole my mom away from work (THANKS Dad) and spent 1 1/2 hours looking at animals and watching how excited Tietjen & Anna Belle were to see them all!!

Annie loved the Lions - she wanted to climb up high to see them.

Tietjen was excited to brush the goats.... he had no fear or hesitancy. Must be from seeing my sister Jillyn's last year!!

We also saw the new Asian Bears that we got earlier this spring!!

We had lots of fun.

Tietjen was sad because they were cleaning out the otter area and they were not there to see!!

Summer Fun

Last Monday, the kids & I went to Blackfoot and met up with my sis Jillyn and her 3 boys (soon to be 4 - yup they found out there are expecting another BOY !!!)

We met up at Jenson's Grove, a man made lake that holds water from the Snake River (when the Spring runoff gets high, they put it here)

We had fun, except today was only in the low 70's and not so warm - owell!!
