Winter Lake FUN!!

Every winter, as snow melts, a lake forms at the end of every one's driveway on our street.

Yesterday, was sunny for a bit, and we went out for a "WALK", which ended up Tietjen & Annie playing in the "lake"!!

I told them "NO" and finally decided to let them experience the course of their choices.....

They had fun for the first 10 mins or so, until Tietjen, who was wet up to his waist, decided he was cold and I took him in crying.

I could hardly get his snow boots off, because of the suction created with all the water.

Lesson Learned - they won't go near the water NOW!!

To bad I had a HUGE mess of wet snow & normal clothes to clean up!!

All in the name of FUN!!!

when mom is lazy

I am just now starting to feel better with the pregnancy, but I have been quite the lazy mom when it comes to a clean house and my kids eating in the kitchen......

Which lead to a couple of jam spots on the carpet, which needs total cleanning, hopefully this spring!!!

But the kids are having fun watching movies, eating lunch or popcorn or what ever I give for a snack!!!

Tietjen has become very very good at this VTech VMotion games..... here he is eating lunch and playing at the same time... sandwhich on the couch, juice and celery in one hand, other hand playing away!!!

Since, I let Tietjen eat lunch in the front room, I let Annie eat lunch watching Mickey Mouse (of course) on my bed!!


We just like taking easy somedays....

SNOW SNOW SNOW

We came home from Utah to TONS of snow!! It had snowed all day friday & saturyday.

Our wonderful neighbors had already dug us out!!! (They are the best)

Tietjen & Annie were excited to play in the snow.....

Jeff helped Tietjen the day before make snowmen in the back yard....

The snow was perfect, Jeff barely started to roll it and it was that big in NO time!! And it was so heavy he couldn't get it up on top of the first ball.

Jeff then made a second smaller one, and used our "girl" snowman stuff from our neighbor!!

Utah Vacation Trip

We got to spend 5 wonderful days and nights in Utah

visiting family and having a wonderful time!!

We went to visit my Grandma & Grandpa Johnson (my mom's mom) with my sister Brookie and her husband Aaron & their little girl Addison!!

It was fun to see them!!

New Years Eve was spent with Richard & Danielle partying till midnight and beyond!!!

Tietjen & Uncle Dallin just liked the noise makers and were asleep by 10:30 pm!!


The girls got Jeff with all the festivities!!!




Celebrating like true Mormons - Apple Cider!!!





The festivities moved onto grandpa!!

We got to party again on New Years Day at Colleen & Dennis'

The kids had lots of fun playing inthe bunkbed room!! Playing with all the toys!!!

We had so much fun and enjoyed seeing every one!!
