I cut Annie's hair

Anna Belle and I had many many many fights about her hair. It is long and has natural curl like mine, and gets tangled badly. I use adult conditoner and alot of it, trying to get the tangles out when I wash her hair. Then trying to do it, she hates it and it is another fight. Her hair will be the same way for 2 or 3 days, just because it don't want to deal with the drama. Well.... yesterday I had had it and............... I CUT it.

I was washing her hair and she was yelling and not siting still and I put into a pony tail and SNIP. Well, that is not the best way to do it. I know that, I was just in the heat of the moment. So, it was awful looking and crooked.

I called bawling to Jeff, then ran across the street to my neighbor Emily Ward and she came and fixed it for me. (She has two daughters)

It is very short, much shorter than I ment, but It will grow.

She looks so grown up now.

Growing Growing Growing

Jeff loves his garden. He takes very very good care of it and gets very excited when new stuff has grown.

We are growing broccoli, tomatoes, corn, carrots, potatoes,

squash, strawberries, watermellon, and peas.

That is our pumkins (pictures above) It has grown so big it grew out of the area .




Annie has our second harvest of broccoli. We also end up giving some away to a neighbor each time we harvest some. With this harvest we made the "Broccoli Salad" from Drue!! It was yummy!!!



Tietjen loves to eat the peas from the garden. These are not even big yet, we have to keep telling him not to pick them and let them grow. It is one way we get him to eat his veggies.

"We???" no "Wii"

We have joined the millions and now own a "Wii"..... where did the money come to purchase one, you might ask..... well, if you hadn't heard... Jeff was in a minor car accident. A Cable One truck ran into the back of him, and we got a $800 check for damages to the car.... too bad the bumper popped it self back out and it only have a few little scratches on it.... soo...............

We had planned on getting one for Christmas, and decided to get it now. So that Jeff could enjoy it now and then won't touch it once school starts.....

Tietjen is in HEAVEN!!!! We bought him "Lego Star Wars" which Tietjen & Daddy play together some times.

Daddy also likes to relax after the kids go to bed and he'll watch Aiden so that I can do something that I need to get done.

I am glad they are having fun

And apparently we are the "Talk" of the neighborhood, because we bought the BLACK Wii... all the little boys thought we were so cool.... because they only have the White one!!

Summer Days

Our "Little Man" - he is so cute. We think he might have a touch of red in his hair.

Togetherness

Jeff likes to borrow the "toys" of the kids in the neighborhood and try them out......

My boys... sleeping in...Yep us Girls we the only ones awake.... true, I just had fed Aiden and he just gone back to sleep, but it sure was cute to see all of them asleep together.

Annie is such a charmer.... she knows when to play the "Daddy's Girl" card and get what she wants. She is always eating some of daddy's breakfast. (I am a cold cereal girl, so I rarely make a hot breakfast)

Just having fun and enjoying being together!!

One Month Old

Aiden is now One month old, as of yesterday.

He is doing really good. He even has slept durning the night for 3 hour period. I am so excited to wake up and find out that I slept for 3 hours together!! I LOVE IT!!!

Tietjen has a new friend. His name is Adam. He lives at the end of our street. Adam is almost 2 years older than Tietjen, but.... they have the same type of personality. So, they are getting along GREAT!! In fact, they WANT to play together. Adam comes over and asks to play with Tietjen. They are having fun togther. Tietjen rides on the back of Adam's bike.

My baby is growing up.

UPDATES

For the 4th, we just stayed home and did our own fire works. The kids had fun watching them go off!! I am just glad it is ALL over. I was getting tired of hearing all the other neighbors (teenagers) do fireworks at 2 in the morning.



We also had a wonderful suprise, Richard, Dallin & Sarah came up and spent the night with us.

We really enjoyed spending time with them!!
