Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas. It was so nice to have Jeff home and just betogether as a family.

The celebration started Christmas Eve, with an old family tradition......
New PJ's. Which I sewed! They were a bit big and need a few adjustments, but that's what I get for doing as a secret!!!
Annie's are kitty faces, and Tietjen got Hawaiian Print bottoms!

One of the gifts from Santa was a sled. Jeff was the perfect father taking them for rides in the backyard... in our less then an inch of snow!

We gave them a VSmile Motion game and my parents gave them bean bag chairs.... just seems to go together!! They love sitting in them. (Once we told Annie it was a Princess Chair, it has become her favorite)

Jeff's Birthday

Jeff turned 28 on December 15th.

We celebrated the night before with cake, which Jeff had to fight off the kids, on blowing out the candles!!

Santa and Singing

Last night was our Ward Christmas Party.

We got to see Santa !!

Tietjen was SOOOOOOOOOOOO excited all day, to go and see Santa, and the minute he was on his lap he was so shy. (it was to cute)

When Santa asked what they wanted for Christmas, Tietjen knew "Legos" and Annie had no idea what he was asking her. (Such simplisity with that girl - wait till next year)


Then as part of the program, the Primary Children went up on the stage to sing a few song. Since I am the Primary Choirster, I was in charge.



Part way through the singing, Jeff is up next to the stage, trying to help Tietjen, some how, his buttons on his shirt were undone..... we don't know if was undoing them or trying to do them back up!!

Annie the whole time just was dancing and singing.

That's my kids..... the Entertainers!!!




Over all it was a good night.

EXCEPT.... Jeff ate to much and it was later than he should have eaten, and he was up all night sick.

Kidd family Update

Just a quick update, for those that don't know what has been going on......

Jeff has been really sick. Can't keep food down. Major stomache pains. We ended up at a Gasternologist and we are going to get a scope of his stomache done on wed (day after his birthday) They gave him some medicine which has helped tremendously and he is so happy to not be loosing his food after he eats it.

I am doing good. Somedays, I am slower getting started then other.... but for the most part I have had very little sickness feelings.

Tietjen loves the "Christmas Button Tree" we call it, to count down till Christmas. He remembers everyday, whose turn it is (his or Annie's) to put an ornament onthe tree.

Yesterday, I was in my room, and heard a HUGE CRASH, sounding like our Christmas Tree fell over. (our tree is only like 4 feet high)

Anna Belle had accidently knocked it over. Nothing broke and she promises not to touch it again. (yah right)

Last night we got some groceries and Jeff picked out some green frosted sugar cookies.

I hung Christmas Lights in the kids room, on their window and around the bunkbed. I only let them be on and night when they get into bed. As soon as they are asleep we turn them off.

I thought they looked so cute in their beds last night.

We are excited for Christmas. We are ever so happy that Jeff is feeling so so so much better.

We are excited that my sister is about to have her little baby (Jeff wants him to come on his birthday so he can call him "Little Jeff") Just to bug my sister!!!

Thank you to everyone that expressed their love and concern for us. We love you all so very much.

Day of Thanks

We spent Thanksgiving here in Idaho Falls this year.

With all my sisters except Kimberly & her family. (They live in Wyoming and couldn't come)

We had a good Thanksgiving.

Jeff was sick for most of it. But we had a good time.

Baby's "First" Pictures

Today I had my first Doctor's Appointment.

I was given the wrong due date ( my fault gave them the wrong date)

I am due: June 29th (I was off just a few days)

I am as of today - 9 weeks & 1 day along!!

Below is my first pictures!!! We even saw the little arm moving and the heart beating!!

Everything is going great. Very little nausea which a huge blessing from heaven!

SNOW !!!!

Yesterday we got SNOW

Tietjen is sosooooooo Happy!!! He played a little in last night at my parents. My dad was out shoveling. First thing this morning he wanted his snow stuff on.

UPdate on the curlers in Annie's hair - It really didn't work. I think they fell out in the night. But, it was good trial run. We will be trying again some time!!!

Legos and Curlers

Tietjen loves LEGO and loves to look at the booklets that comes with the sets.

He has been looking at all of Jeff's old ones.

Jeff surprised Tietjen by building one and having it on his chest of drawers so he would see it first thing when he woke up!! And he DID... Tietjen was so excited!!

Pink Curlers....... I decided to try them and see if Annie would let me put them in, and if she would leave them in.......

she loved them and I had to put them back in this morning!!

pregnancy update

As of tomorrow I am 8 weeks along.

I have not been majorly sick like with the last two (Thank Heavens)

I am extremely tired..... I take naps everyday - same time as Anna Belle

I hate how everything smells and nothing looks good to eat (Except chocolate and raspberries - have already eaten 3-4 containers of them in the last week)

Other than feeling weird, I am GOOD!!!

I feel that Heavenly Father has truely blessed me this time around. Hopefully still no miscarriage!!

Next week is my first doc appointment!! More update later!!

pumkin massacre.....................

We never did carve our pumpkins from our garden. On Halloween just had fun with the kids painting them..... until last night.......

Jeff decided he wanted to have his "Seeds"

So we opened up our pumkins........

The kids had fun putting their hands in the "pumpkin goop" as Tietjen called it
Tietjen was sad that we would cut open his, he didn't want his to die. After an hour of talking about it, he consenteted and we will be having his pumpkin another night!!!

We baked tons of seed and I make cookies from the pumkins.

We had lots of fun just being together!!!

Here are the Kidd's...... Jeff was a skeleton (which Annie was a bit scared of at first)

Mickie brought back the 80's (in authentic 80's gear- was my mom's from then)

Anna Belle was a Princess (of course)

Tietjen decided to go with Mickey Mouse (our neighbor gave him the shirt that had lights on it and he has worn it for 3 days straight)

We had lots of fun Trick or Treating.... Jeff has been sick this week and he acctually felt good yesterday.(to bad he is really sick this morning)

Tietjen caught the spirit of "trick or treatin" Jeff was RUNNING to keep up with him, as Tietjen went from House to House in our neighborhood.

Annie & I took longer because the Princess has her high heeled shoes one, which we changed half way through the street.

The kids made a killing on candy. Their containers are overflowing!!

Tuesday, I didn't get Annie down for her nap at Noon like normal, because at 11:30 am I fell asleep. (since I have been pregnant... I keep having to take naps every day)

So at about 5 pm this is how I found Anna Belle, she had been watching TV.

You can't see it, but clutched in her little hand, is her lip gloss, that she keeps with her at all times.

Yesterday we got out in the little bit of sunshine there was, of course in winter coats, but enjoyed a bit of sun!!
