Daddy's Girl

Anna Belle is finally starting to like and want Jeff's attention. Since this past week has been Spring Break for Jeff, he has been able to spend more time with the kids.

Anna Belle has decided that she gets to "BE" with daddy when he does things.

She even tried to "do" his hair with her ribbon.

Jeff loves that she is giving him attention now. He loves his little Princess.

Nintendo Madness

Mario and Luigi have come to visit our little home.....

While my parents are on their cruise this week, we borrowed their "old school" Nintendo. (same one I grew up playing... yes it still works, barely)

I let this happen, also, because Jeff is on his Spring Break. Once this week is over... back it goes to my parents.

Jeff & Tietjen spent two days playing Mario 3, just so Jeff could beat it all the way through... over 6 hours.

Jeff is working at the Trophy Store this week, so during the day, I do let Tietjen play for a little bit. But, only a little bit.

He sure is having fun playing them.

Oh, and Anna Belle thinks she is the Princess in the Castle that they are saving. She likes to watch them play, just to see if she can see "her" the Princess!!

MORE Birthday Celebrations

March 17th is my mother Jill Cooley Tietjen's bday (also my niece Hailey Larsen)

I made Tietjen a cake, that I got the idea from Aunt Paula on Jacob's cake..... LEGO!!!

Tietjen doesn't like Lego's at all right???????

We sang to Tietjen & My Mom, which we didn't get a picture of them together, my silly spaced out mind.

In our family, we like to celebrate birthdays for as long as possible... just ask any of my sisters or my parents, we've always done this!!! Just makes it more fun!!

HE's 5 !!!!!!

The day we have been counting down to since, well Christmas, finally arrived. Tietjen had his 5th birthday!! What did he get LEGOS!!! (what else - I tried to convince him of other things, but didn't work)

So, as you can see in the picture below, with all his birthday money he was given and from us, he has almost the complete set of "Power Miner" Legos. He also got a Lego Movie from us.

His proud display.... now lets see how long it takes before they are all apart.. he likes to rebuild new things, Daddy is trying to convince him leave them together, we'll see WHO wins out!!!

Year Four and Five

2008

Tietjen turned 3 years old and started preschool......

Tietjen turned 4 years old

He loves going to Preschool, is sortof excited for Kindergarden.

He is full of energy, laughter, and smiles

Tietjen turned 2 years old

Anna Belle was born, and Tietjen became a BIG brother.

(He is very excited right now, to have a little brother too soon)

2006 - my baby boy turned the big 1 years old!!

He is such a happy smiley kid!! Everyone allways says he looks like Jeff or if they know my dad, they say he looks like him....... yup .... Tietjen is my dad & Jeff!! Only thing he got from me was his ability to TALK alot!!

With only 5 days left till my baby is 5 years old, here is recap of the last 5 years with this wonderful little spirit. (Today I went and registered him for Kindergarden, they do a "Getter Ready to Read" test, he got a 17 out of 20) My baby is getting so big and grown up!!

Tietjen has always been full of smiles!! I love you my little first born!!

12 more days till.....

Well it's not 12 days till Christmas, it is infact, 12 days till

my first born baby is going to be 5 years old !!

I can hardly believe 5 years has gone by.

He was born March 12th, 2005

(the day Grandma Awsumb had a Baby Shower planned - they had the shower with out us and enjoyed looking at all the cute stuff)

This picture is of 2 days after he was born. We had to stay an extra day, because they were checking on a possible infection.

He is growing up so dang fast and learning so much. He amazes us every day with his understanding and knowledge and his memory of things.

More memories of this little boy to come.... (I know Jeff honey, this just makes me cry even more)
