Strange Sleeping Habits

My kids crack me up with the funny and strange things they have on or have in their beds when we go and check on them at night.....



Anna Belle for a few days would play with her noise maker toys as she fell asleep for naps!!
This is how we find her most often.... with shoes on. (I put the ones she loves the most, high up, so she has to just wear her slippers in bed - all the other shoes made her feet stink!!)

Tietjen is the most creative.... we find his stuffed toys in his pj top and one morning he told me that his "blue bear" was dirty. Apparently he put in his bottoms... inside his pull up - yah it stunk and was was immediately washed... then last night we found him with his pull up on the outside of this pj's - he wasn't that way before bed - sometime before he fell asleep he took off his pj bottoms and switched them????? I know ??????

and he put on his church shoes one night as well... Anna Belle

what a weekend...........

At the last minute we were able to visit Jeff's parents this weekend.


When we got to there. Dennis has a list of stuff for Jeff to help with. In the end we got to ride in the '55 Chevy and the Jeep.


Tietjen was so excited to ride from the garage to the backyard in the Jeep with Grandpa Awsumb. Anna Belle was mad & jealous!!


Anna Belle told Grandma Awsumb all about girl stuff. She had my lip gloss and kept wanting to have it put on her. Plus, she got jewelry in her mailbox. She was in HEAVEN!!


Anna Belle was being so cute, so I snapped a bunch of pics, and as many of you know, she doesn't usually smile for pictures!!

Tietjen & I played Hide & Go Seek. While Grandpa & Daddy worked on the Chevy. He discovered that he could go all the way around Grandpa's Shop and would go around and around a bunch of times.

See... Anna Belle really can smile and look darling!! - I know her belly is a bit bigger than her shirt - it is a 2T - what can I say, she eats like her daddy!

Saturday we spent the Day with Grandpa & Grandma Kidd... unfortunately I forgot to take pictures. The boys when to a movie and the girls crafted & gabbed!! It was the best!!!

Sunday because of rain, we couldn't go to the Zoo, so we went to the Aquarium with Drue & Shantel and Grandparents Awsumb.

Anna Belle recently discoverd the movie "Finding Nemo" which she calls "mo-mo" just like Tietjen did at that age. She was fasinated with all the fish!!

Trying to touch the "Mana Ray" (I don't think it was a sting ray) I touched it and screamed!!

Tietjen didn't really want to touch it either. Jeff finally got to touch it and Annie touched the tail of the same one!

Tietjen liked the sharks and the turtles!! I finally got him to hold still for more than 2 seconds to get a picture. He looked at everything faster than we could and kept running ahead.. he is always in 3rd gear when we are still in 1st!!!

We had so much fun being able to see all the family. We love and miss you all lots!!

I love my grandmother, she lived durningthe time of the depresion as a teenager. Back then panyhose had a seam up the backside, and because they were so poor her and her sisters would just draw a line up the backside of their leg to look like they had on panyhose.

**She is a hard worker, single mother provider (my grandfather died of a Brain Tumor when my mother was 12).

**She is TOUGH love but she loves her grandchildren and always believes in getting a EDUCATION!!

lazy busy days

This past week, we have had LOTS and LOTS of fun, having Jeff home.

plus he has been working on my "honey do" list every day- Thanks Babe!!

Tietjen helping Daddy, put up another panel on our fence and Tietjen wearing Anna Belle's capri pants (he thought they were his shorts - they look like spandex shorts on him- !!!!)

Our Cherry Tree is in full bloom - I love it! and Jeff has already read a 2 books -

Annie & Daddy swinging!! (don't you just love the look on her face) - Tietjen hurt his face, again. This time he fell because he didn't want to buckle up his shoes, so when he went to run, he fell flat on his nose and scraped it up really good. The poor kid won't leave it alone, he'll scratch it and then it will bleed and THE WORLD HAS ENDED as we know it - that is how dramatic he acts!!! - I know you can just imagine!!

Anna Belle & I had a Tea Party while Tietjen was at Preschool - she did really good cutting the pie for me!!

Anna Belle "pretending" to be asleep. I was making her bed and she wanted to lay down with it all on the floor while I worked on the sheets!! She loves her new bedding she got for her birthday!!

END RESULTS...................

Final Grades came in on Monday..............

2 - A's (Spanish and Materials & Measurements Lab)
1 - B+ (Engineering Physics)
2 - B's (Materials & Measurements and Engineering Dynamics)
1 - C (General Statistics)- its an English Math class mixed (it was awful - says Jeff)

GPA - 3.3

We are so proud of Jeff and his hard work.


**Now - since we all are experiencing STRESS from this wonderful FINANCIAL CRISIS........ my parents Trophy Store, was not able to have Jeff work for them.

Yesterday Jeff hit the Pavement and went from store to store looking for employment.

He was even turned away from giving Plasma - because of his Seizure Meds...

Today he had an interview with.......




for a night time position, when he went in, they offered him a day position and talked about in 2-3 months becoming a Shift Supervisor....

Only Jeff can go in for a Peon Job and end up becoming a Supervisor!!

We are excited to have INCOME!!

Yes!! it is finally over - Jeff just finished his final FINAL!!!!

We are so excited!!!

Two down - 3 to go - can't wait for this week to be OVER!!

the end is FINALLY HERE!!!!!

Today is Jeff's last day of classes..... next week he just has his 5 finals.

WE MADE IT!!! We survived another semster.... and we are just that much closer to being DONE!!!

I'll post grades in a few weeks when we now them!!!

Jeff is not taking classes this summer - nothing was offered that would work or help... so we get him all SUMMER LONG!!
