Jeff's Project

Jeff has been done with classes this semester for a week now. He let no time waste to start building the kids a playhouse for them. He has enjoyed every minute of it and when it rains he gets bored not sure what to do. We are enjoying having him home and stress free of school!!

Anna Belle thinks it is her own personal stage to dance and sing for us!!

The kids like to help when they can. Jeff needed some help with holding down the board as he cut. I and the kids took our turns helping out.

Here is where we stand as of today. All that is left is putting up the roof and sides and building the stairs.

This is my favorit picture. We took a break, eating outside and enjoying the sunshine. The kids just love having daddy home more!!!

Baby Aiden Update

Monday, I went in for a check up Ultra Sound. The lady was so nice, she did a 3D ultrasound for us and gave us pictures. This was the best she could get, because he had his head down and feet up at my ribs, and was positioned with his back to my stomach, like a little frog.

We were able to see his face and she pointed out his hair, and we could see he had Jeff's "beak lip" (where his top lip comes down further and more prominent) both Tietjen & Annie have it.

Everything looked really good and we are very relieved that he is doing good. He weighs about 5lbs right now (give or take 30%) I just hope he doesn't come out 9lbs!!

We are getting very very very excited for him to join our little family! Jeff can hardly wait to hold him. Jeff is guessing that he will come June 21st (which is a monday) Tietjen was born on a Saturday (at 9:49am), Annie was born on a Sunday(at 10:49 am), so he thinks Aiden will follow the trend and be born on a Monday!!

Jeff's Grades

Jeff worked so hard this semester and really enjoyed his classes. Today his grades were finally posted.


Engineering Hydrology = A-
Fluid Mechanics = B
Water & Waste Water Quality = B+
Basic Geotechnics = A
Intro to Electricial Circuits = B+
Engr Econ & Management = A

His over all GPA right now is about a 3.5

We are VERY happy to have this semester OVER and to have him home with us this summer. He will be working part time for the Engineering Labratory that he did this past summer, and for my parents at the Trophy Store.

His plans are to build a play house for the kids, finish the fence around the yard, take Tietjen camping & fishing, play with the kids, and wait for our little Aiden Justice to come!!

Annie's 3 year Check Up

Today was Anna Belle's 3 year check up. She weighs in at 32 lbs and is 36 1/2 inches tall (a little over 3 feet) . The doctor was amused at how "communicative" she is. She told him, that She is a girl and he was a boy. She is right on track with growing and maybe just a tad a head when it comes to communication. (probably due to the fact that her mommy loves to talk too, that is why Tietjen is such a talker also)

She did have to get two shots, which she was excited about getting the bandaid, until they stuck the needles in and then she was very very upset.

We love you Annie!! We are happy that you are growing up so well. Even if we have fights about fashion already. ( I can't get her to wear the clothes I want her to wear)
