Tietjen's Preschool this week was about FAMILIES

Here is some of his art work that he brought home

First... he drew our family

Then they cut & glued "a magazine family"

I thought I looked quite cute except I am blonde

and Jeff's hair is to long

He is doing so good at Preschool we love it and he loves it!!

our Harvest!!!

Last night we harvested and cleaned up most of our garden.

I was getting tired of the overgrown mess.

Here are some of our pictures.....

This is the Zucchini plant that we figured we got about 45 zucchinis off of.

I have about 30 of it in my freezer shreaded or sliced for winter use. The rest we gave away to neighbors and family

Jeff's prized potatoe... this year we waited longer and ended up with some good size potatoes!!

This is my favorite pumkin, it is growing inside the cornstalks... it looks so cool.

We planted carrots TWICE and this is what we got.... the zucchini & squash plants over took the garden and they got no sunlight!!

Our Pumkins... we ended up with 7 of them. We are so excited not to have to buy them this year.

Anna Belle wants makeup so bad.

I thought I would share many photos over the past couple of months of her desperate try to apply or have makeup on!!!!

How long do you think I will hold out until I get her some play makeup..... I think I will wait until at least 4!!!

Big Brother

Earlier this Spring one of the boys from our ward,who really wanted a dog, but his parents don't. Started comming to over to play with Jax (our dog).

Tietjen of course wanted to play also.... which resulted in this new friendship!!

Jared is Tietjen's favorite person in the whole world!!

He is Tietjen's big brother.

Jared and his friends (one is our neighbor) were in our front yard playing football. Jared lets Tietjen play with them.... for the first bit he carried him. (I think he got to tired, so Tietjen just ran along with him)

Jared wants a little brother (his mom says they are done with having any more kids)

So they sort of have adopted each other.

Jared helps me out all the time, during Primary and Activites, keeping Tietjen with him and keeping him entertained.

I love this picture... you can see how much he loves and looks up to Jared.

In fact, after we went into eat dinner, Tietjen went and put on his bball cap (as you can see Jared is wearing one and it's even the same color)

THANKS Jared for you help with Tietjen.

You are a GREAT big Brother.

(so did any of you think, I was going to tell you I was pregnant... no I am not... not yet at least... give me a month)

Ready for Makeup

My smarty daughter, pulled the stool from the bathroom, into the hallway, and reached into the cupboard for MY MAKEUP!!!

This is how I found her when I walked in to the hall way.....

(Notice my boots she was wearing only moments before)
She has some lip gloss, up it always gets everywhere when I let her play with it... apparently she wanted lipstick on.... to bad it is my mascara!

words of wisdom from a 2 year old

Yesterday, I was a bit sad.
Anna Belle was sitting with me on my bed, she put her little chubby hands under my chin and said "No be sad Mommy" "Go Eat" "Cake"

I AM NOT KIDDING!!
The wisdom inside this little body is way past her age.

She is communicating so well, at times, I think she is already a teenager!! (Yikes for those day to acctualy come)

I love my front room and kitchen. It is still not perfect.... someday I rather had just one couch that can fit more than two people... but we do what we can and just enjoy life!!!

last day off till Thanksgiving....

This weekend of Labor Day.... we spent with Jeff and family....

We had fun just hanging out with him & enjoying time before the rage of school starts and we don't see him again till Thanksgiving Break!!

Saturday, we celebrated my niece Addison's first birthday (acctual bday is Sept 19th) You do want you can do to get family together!!!
We had lots of fun trying to get all the grandkids together - as you can see Tietjen is missing... he got mad because he want to sit on a specific chair... he is in the time out corner while the picture is being taken!!

Sunday night, we put our BIG wall tent up, to make sure it was all clean for winter, and to have one last CAMP OUT!!!

Monday we spent painting.... while the kids played in the tent & watched movies (we took out our little tv/vcr and watched movies)

My blue wall is gone !!!

It is so nice, weird, but so nice.

I am going to rearrange the room, so when it is all put together, I will post about!!

That was our weekend!!

The best part was just being with Jeff!!
