Tietjen's turn

I thought I would do a blurp on Tietjen, since I recently did one on Anna Belle

Tietjen is almost 4 years old and his understanding and imagination has just taken off!! He loves to help me (with some things... never cleaning up his toys) and he loves to LAUGH and have FUN!

Tietjen helped me make fresh OJ from the last of our oranges we bought a huge box from a neighbor girl. We juiced 25 oranges because they needed to be eaten. He had fun helping me.

I am a HUGE fan of Musical Movies... I don't mean High School Musical. I mean "Sound of Music" "Annie" Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" "Mary Poppins" "Hello Dolly" "White Christmas" , those type of REAL musicals.

Tietjen loves to watch Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. At one point Dick Van Dyke sing a song about a Bamboo Stick. Tietjen went into the play room and got his light sabor, a Hat, and a stool . So that he could sing and dance along with him too. (Nothing like the movie... but great Imagination building there)

Tietjen & Anna Belle love to put their aprons on and "make me dinner" . I always get a donut in a pot.???? Then Tietjen will ask me " Mommy, will you play house with me? " My answer is " I play house all the time!"

Bathtub Blunders

I know I should never leave Anna Belle alone in the bathtub... especially if I am "BLOGGIN" while she is in there. Because I came back to find this .............................. Water EVERY WHERE!!

WOW!!!! Winter is BACK!!

The MOST AMAZING thing happend yesterday.......

it SNOWED!!!

We dressed the kids up and let me get some engery out today, we played with our neighbor kids the "Wards" they live across the street. Their dad was building a snowman for them. We all helped.

Jeff hooked up Jax (our dog) to a sled... Annie and our nieghbor Hailee took a ride down the side walk with Jax pulling them. These two girls liked it more than the boys did!!

Silly Silly Anna Belley!!!

Anna Belle is as SILLY as they come. Here are a collection of pictures I have taken this past month of her "strong personality" (their nursery teacher told me that about my kids)

I know, I know... what is she doing... she wanted me to put the baby blanket on her head and then the hat on.... really I am dead honest about this.. it was ALL HER!!

I know she is silly and has a attitude like a teenager.. but she is so stinkn' cute.

Both Tietjen & Annie has been sick this week... she wanted me just to hold her... she never wants that!!!

Tietjen's School Pictures

Tietjen has "school pictures" taken last fall... I didn't order any because they were way way to expensive. They sent little 1 inch - stickers of what they looked like. This was the best scan I could get from it. Doesn't he looks so sweet and cute!!

???? SPRING has sprung????

DID you KNOW that Spring is HERE!! You never would have thought that it could come in January. We hardly have any snow and since we face south our front yard is almost free of snow and MY TULIPS ARE COMMING UP!! I am so MAD!!!!!

(those are my daisy plants above... my tulips are next to my front door and get full sun. They haven't had snow on them for 2 weeks and so I put a bunch of snow on them today)

We enjoyed a brief moment in some sunshine and fresh air.

Hi Ho ! Hi Ho ! off to school Jeff goes !!

Today was the first day of another semester.... He is officially a Junior!!

YAYAYAYAY!! Only two more years!!!!

We took him to the bus stop (classes are in Pocatello) this morning at 7 am (which ment we got up at 6 am) Which also means... I HAVE THE VAN!!!!! I am so verry excited. I never get the van until the weather warms ups!!!!

This Semester he is taking..... Spanish, Engineering Physics II, Material & Measurement and Lab, some other Engineering class & Math class (I can't remember what they were called) In total is he taking 18 credits!!

SURPRISE its the Idaho Kidds

We took a quick trip to Utah this past weekend to celebrate "FAMILY"

Jeff's mom Colleen was to have a surprise birthday party thrown for her 50th!

Jeff's dad Richard was to be ordained a High Priest.

So we found this would be the perfect time to splurge and take a quick trip to SURPRISE them both!!

At the resturant for the suprise bday party... we hid in the back so she couldn't see us.

When she came in and was surprised for the party.. we sent Tietjen up to her.. WOW was she surprise to see him!!

Anna Belle enjoyed herself greatly... after spilling the ketchup all over her self... we left her undressed for the cake eating!!!

Then after the party.... we drove to Jeff's dad & step mom's house and we again.. sent Tietjen up to the door to have Grandpa Kidd open the door and find Tietjen had come to his home. "SURPRISE" !!

Happy 2009 New Year

This year has been such a fun one!! We have had so many blessings given to us. We are truely thankful and look forward to a new year and lots of new experiences.

Tietjen has grown so big this year. He turned 3 in March with a love of Trains and by summer's end was obsessed with Star Wars also. He tells me he likes them both and he does play with both. Preschool has really helped him grow up. He is so "mature" and yet he is the biggest goof ever. He has skinned out, from that stocky little boy. Already I need to unpick his pants again. I can't keep up with him (good thing I bought pants with already cuffs so I can lengthen them)

Such a smile this boy has!!

Anna Belle has changed the most. She started out the year with learning to walk. Now she can walk, talk, and fight back with her brother. She holds her own quite well. She speaks in full sentences when she talks or you cant understand a word she says.

My Baby is no longer a Baby!!

I love my family so much and look forward to a new year of lots of FUN changes!!
