One day I kept hearing this BANGING and then kind of a yelling. So I went to investigate... this is what I found..... Anna Belle had climbed into the dryer and was getting mad because she couldn't get the door closed from the inside.... like I said.... NO COMMENT!

Tietjen wanted to join in the fun....

Out side playing on Saturday, before all the wonderful snow came on SUNDAY - will it ever end???

Tietjen climbed the tree all by himself, he is getting more brave about things like that, now if we could only get him to be brave with his new bike... with time.

what I learned from the "TWILIGHT" books

YES!! I finshed that last book last night at 11:30 pm - Jeff will be glad when I stop staying up so late... I took 2 days to finsh the last one, I felt my family deserved more from me.


So, here is what I have learned from "Twilight" -



**OVERCOMING your Weaknesses......

Edward's weakness was the strange attraction to Bella - not only her Blood, but Her. (read Edward's story "Moonlight" on the author's website - very interesting) He wanted to overcome that "weakness" because he found that he LOVED her more than killing her.

-----conclusion ----- I have a major weakness for "sugar" - I have endulged more that I should , because I just wanted to, didn't want to CONTROL it. Now, I want to control it. Thanks Edward.



**FAMILY - nothing is more important in this life than FAMILY. Not a fancy home, all the right decor, not new cars, not lots of money to spend, not books, or TV, nothing is more important than Family.

----conclusion- my family is the most important element in my life and if I waste that moment now, I will lose it forever.


**SOUL MATES or FOREVER or ETERNITY

Edward and Bella were "soul mates" or "mates" , others where as the author put it "imprinted" - they found that ONE person that was ment for them, to be with always.

I loved the back cover of the book, it quoted Bella and Edwards.. Bella said "Don't be afriad, We belong together" Edward agreed "Forever".

----conclusion--- " I HAVE THAT" I have my "soul mate", the "Love my of Life", the "Prince of my Dreams" "My Knight in Shining Armor" - put it how you like, I have one - Jeff is my life and I have him forever or my favorit word "FOR ETERNITY" - why you might ask - because I am sealed to him, he is mine - Thanks to the Restored Gospel, to my Lord and Savior, through the Atonement, I get to keep my "soul mate" always!!!!!


- Now there were many parts of the book I thought were Dumb, repeative, but my favorite parts are when Edward & Bella are HAPPY - because Happly Ever After does happen - and I will have it.

obession continures........

Jeff got the next two books for me from the Library, as a surprise.... I was up till 11:30 pm last night reading.... half the way through.....the obession continues, like so many of you!!!


( I even read it while I curled my hair... I am talented)

it's Thursday??? Already???

WOW! I can hardly believe it is Thursday today???: WHere has this week gone you ask??? Sunday I got a copy of "New Moon" (Twilight series) and my poor children did not see me again until 7 pm Monday night when I took it back to my neighbors when I finished. (I read Twilight the same time period, under 24 hours- i know obsessed - just like everyone else).

Monday night at 10 pm Tietjen woke up - ejecting his Spagetti dinner... very gross. Then 1 am - I was sick. - Tuesday - blur until that afternoon, I sat at the computer reading "Midnight" Edwards version of "Twilight" on the author's website - wish she would finish it - stupid people that ruin things like selling the manuscript so the writer doesn't finish it - I of course finished it wednesday afternoon. (only 264 pages - stops before they go on their hike to the meadow)

Ohhh and now it is is Thursday - I did get the laundery done yesterday - go me - waiting for the library to call when the 3rd book is ready - hope it is a sunny day and the kids can play out side - oh and we got an inch of snow last night - yuck!!

Happy Birthday Mom

Jill Cooley Tietjen is my mother!!

She was born March 17th, 1957

She is the youngest of 5 children.

Her mother is Grace Marchent Cooley Johnson

Her father is Kenneth Cooley (he died January 10, 1970)

My father Bruce & my mother Jill when I was not quite one year old.

My mom always wanted to create as many memories for us as possible.





This is a ROCK at Bear Lake that she went to as a little girl. When the lake is low, you can walk out to it no problem. Jeff & I took pictures there the first time we went to Bear Lake married. It is all about keeping those traditions and memories. (in this photo it is my mom, my sister Kim, and I when I was 10 maybe)





Being the first born of the brood of daughters, I feel very special. I love my mother so very much. She helps me in all I do and is always so full of love and laughter. I enjoy very much living so near.

I love you mom! You are the BEST and the Greatest in all the WORLD!!

Fingers and Fetishes

okay, I know my children are STRANGE! Trust me I know this. With a father as they have, it is no wonder... J/K, their mother has her quirks too.... but.....

Anna Belle has some very unusal fetishes.... first her fingers..... about a year ago, she picked out a blanket that had the crocheting on the edge, as her favorite. The reason, she likes to twine her fingers into the holes and loops (she does this with a knit sweater I have and the blaket is now in shreds- I have since found another to take its place) She likes to also have her hands held, and sometimes I find her holding her own hads, for comfort.

Also, she LOVES, I mean LOOOOVES shoes. She has since she was going on 1. But now, she wears then ALWAYS, and I mean always... as you can see in this picture: She got up in the night and put on her sunday shoes. I try to have her sleep with just her slippers, but sometimes, other shoes are on when I go and check on her at night.

Going on 2 is a big thing.... she has been doing it since January... she wants to dress herself. She got mad when I tried to tell her that it was sweater she was putting on not pants. ( I wasn't fast enough to get the pic of them on her legs, just her trying to take them off)

Sunglasses... she has to have them. If the sun is in her eyes while driving, a piercing scream comes saying " EYES, EYES". (look!!!... its the next Sharpay)

and she is just plain silly. While I was looking at blogs this morning, she came in and next thing I know she found a marker and was licking it. (oh and she also is quite clumsy, from the chubbiness, and she ran into the kitchen table this morning, giving herself a bump and scratch on her right eye. You can see how it is puffy- such drama)

my sisters saw a sign that they thought was so fitting for Anna Belle, it said.....

"SPARE ME THE DRAMA !!"

Tietjen's Birthday Cake!!

We had already sung and eaten some before I realized I forgot to take a picture, so the cake is partly gone on round two of blowing out the candles.

He picked out "Rock Monster" Legos with the gifts card Grandparents Awsumb sent and a horn on his bike.
Which is the most annoying one at the store, but he just HAD to have that one!! (at least I will always know where he is on the street- it is so LOUD)

The day before his birthday he told me he wanted a Spider Man costume, well it turns out that later on his birthday, my friend came over to give us some hand-me down pj's and one was a Spider Man one.

Well we made it, it is officaly Tietjen's birthday today. NOW, I can stop hearing "when is it my birthday?"




This morning he woke up to a brand new "Speed Racer" Bike and "Hot Wheels" Helment. From Mommy & Daddy, Grandparents Awsumb, & Grandparents Kidd. (Thank You)

The bike makes him a little nervous, but he is doing well. After this video, I put the seat down even further, he was still having a hard time touching the pedals when they were all the way down.

He still has more presents to go... so more to come later!!

Tietjen has had quite a few "obsessions" in his short little life.

age1 - Little Einsteins's & Backyardigans

age 18 months- TRAINS (lasted till 3 1/2 years old)

Now he just likes it all and more... not one thing specific. Everyday he plays with something different.

**We are not getting any "action figures" for his birthday. He is getting a "big" boy bike & helmet.**


I am so glad that he has grown out of his obsessions... makes life less dramatic!!

Julie Roberts is not really related, but Jeff always thought of her as a second mom while he was on his mission!! She came to visit shortly after Tietjen was born!!



Tietjen loves ALL of his grandparents... I think most kids are jealous because Tietjen has so many!!! We are grateful for all they do for our family!!

Tietjen is almost 4!!!

In 10 days my little boy will be 4 years old!! I can hardly believe it!! So for the next few days, I will show pictures of Tietjen!!!

I spent 4 hours pushing this little boy out..... he has such a big head, the doctor used the vaccum thing and the prong things... nothing seemed to work. Finally she cut me and he finally came!!! I was so tired after having him.... I remember falling asleep when Guy & Erin came to visit (sorry).
We had to stay a few extra days because they thought he might have an infection, which he had an IV in his head the whole time... I hated it!!

Tietjen was born the day, Colleen was giving me a Baby Shower... so they had it with out us, but she came and took pictures to show everyone!!!
