Tietjen is born the same month as my mother Jill (March 17th)
We named Tietjen after my maiden name to carry on the name, since I had no brothers.
The name Tietjen comes from Germany & Finland.
it is said "TEE - JEN" with a silent "t" in the middle

Grandma Awsumb & Grandpa Dennis(Tietjen calls Grandpa Awsumb by Dennis because he as a TRAIN with the same name and Santa brought it Christmas Morning!!!)
Julie Roberts is not really related, but Jeff always thought of her as a second mom while he was on his mission!! She came to visit shortly after Tietjen was born!!Tietjen loves ALL of his grandparents... I think most kids are jealous because Tietjen has so many!!! We are grateful for all they do for our family!!
